Josh Kerr and Co. is the amalgamation of my career and myinterests in one site. Professionally I offer a range of services to help your business achieve marketing and sales. I’ve been working in marketing, comms and events for over a decade, and I’ve got lots of tools under my belt to help you achieve success.
But this website is about more than that too…
Like many others, for years I’ve struggled with work-life balance. How do we financially achieve what we want, without slogging our lives away in the office until 9 or 10pm (and I’ve had plenty of those nights too).
We try to separate our professional and personal interests,so that we have a clear dividing line between the two. But is that the way it should be? I love what I do, and I realise that helps a lot. Because I love what I do, it is a part of my life. I seek out things, like building websites and brands for myself (again, welcome to JK & Co.) because they are a part of my set of interests and I do them in my spare time.
So rather than fight the line between personal and professional, I’m mixing the two. I want to make sure that I give my family the best life possible and the best way I know how to do that, is to embrace workas life, and find the balance between.
So we’re ready to embark on a new chapter. We’ll travel as much as we can and we’ll take our laptop and not feel bad about it. I’d rather be sitting on a beach or in the caravan beside a river doing work, than cramming the work in at 10pm each night. My family are a part of this business. It’s the ultimate integration of work and life, for a better work-life balance.
What does this mean for you, our clients? Well, we work a little differently. Firstly, we take on few clients at a time, so you know that you’ll get the attention you deserve. But we won’t be focusing on blitzing your job and getting it out the door so we can invoice you tomorrow. We are not a churn-and-burn agency. We want to take our time to get to know you, the challenges you face, and how we can provide the best solutions from wherever we are in the world at the time.
